If you happen to have this book at home you might like to follow along in English. Can you recognise any of the Te Reo words? Do you know their English meanings? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zCpNgsRnN0 Writing: This week we are learning to stretch our sentences by including the 5 W’s in our writing (who, what, when, where, why). Can you retell the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar? Include as many of the 5 W’s as you can. Here are today’s tasks; Literacy: Reading: Today we will be listening to our lovely student teacher from Room 6, Miss Tubalado. She will be reading a Maori action story called “Mahi”. https://youtu.be/HN8ecrSoJ18 Writing: Today we are going to write our own mihimihi. This is a way that we can introduce ourselves in Te Reo Maori. You may be able to write this out by yourself or you may need to ask someone in your bubble to help you. Remember to do your best.
