Can you put these WOW words into sentences? Here are today’s tasks;  Literacy:  Reading:  Click the link below to listen to the story “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” with Michael Rosen. You might like to try to act out the actions alongside him. Some of you might have been lucky enough to have read this Big Book in your classroom with your teacher. There are some examples of story maps in the photos below. You can draw pictures, or find things in your garden to glue onto your story map. You can also write some words or sentences explaining what is happening in your story map. Today we are going to write some new facts that we learnt about maps. You might like to think about what maps are used for or what they look like.  Numeracy:  Inquiry:  As part of our EOTC inquiry unit we are looking at how we can use maps to keep ourselves safe. Have a look at the map of the Auckland Zoo below. Maybe you have visited the Zoo before with your family. Some of you may have already read this Big Book in your classrooms with your teachers.
